Dave Fischer retired in August, 2010, after 40 years of service as an area Illinois dairy extension educators focusing on forage production, manure systems, and youth programs. Dave will continue to coach the 4-H dairy judging and dairy quiz bowl teams in the future.
Dr. Dick Wallace has been hired by Pfizer Animal Health as a regional dairy veterinarian serving several midwest states including IL, IA, ND, SD, MO, and southern IL. You see him at dairy meetings and on farms solving health challenges. Dick will continue to teach milk quality and reproduction internet classes through the Univerisity of Illinois Academic Outreach.

At this time due budget limitations, no positions will be filled and no dairy extension programs will be provided by Illinois Extension or the Department of Animal Sciences.
